1. Me in the Carillion, a freestanding 42m-tall tower next to Haus der Kulturen der Welt.
2. Exploring Berlin-Tiergarten.
3. Menschen in der Stadt by Mehmet Aksoy at Menschenlandschaft Berlin.
4. Mango-curry tofu burger, ketchup & fries at Burgermeister, Oberbaumstraße 8, 10997.
Whilst the Transmediale programme was packed to the brim, some of my favourite moments of the trip were our mini adventures after everything had wrapped up for the day, in particular walking over to Brandenberg Tor and hunting out a photoautomaat machine in the middle of the night, making use of one outside the totally bizarre TrabiWorld am WELT-Ballon at Zimmerstraße 97. I love Berlin's raw creativity and unabashed acknowledgement of its history. Not to mention, Club Mate has a very special place in my heart, and - living up to it's title as the vegan capital of Europe - I even got a fucking fantastic burger out of it, served from a converted public toilet. Dreamy.
